I love hares. They are quite majestic creatures. I drew this magnificent fellow last spring and then thought it would be ideal as a greeting card. The good news is that it is still available. Pick up a copy or two from my shop, Tuppenny Rainbow. In stock and ready to go. A snip at £2.00 + p&p.
Just when you think it’s safe to put your head up above the parapet along comes my new video/soundscape. I’m very very pleased with this one.
I suppose it’s the lot of most artists to spend their lives in complete obscurity. One doesn’t become an artist to become rich either. First and foremost I make art because I have something to say; I have feelings and emotions I want to express. I also make it to please myself. If people like my work then that is a bonus. If people like my work and want to support me then that is truly a double bonus. But I have to be honest a little more recognition and the odd sale wouldn’t go amiss.
If you like my work and you would like to support me there are a number of ways that you can, and they needn’t cost you any money:
Having said that if you have got some spare cash you could always buy some of my stuff. Stuff comes in various forms; prints and cards (reasonably priced) which you can buy online from Tuppenny Rainbow, or limited edition art prints which you can buy direct from me.
If you are unable to part with any of your hard earned cash, ways to help that won’t cost you a penny include:
- Following me on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube), sharing my posts/tweets/videos and generally spreading the word of my very existence.
- If you only do one thing then one of the biggest helps would be to subscribe to my YouTube channel and liking my videos.
Thanking you in advance.
Video/Soundscape inspired by walking. Excerpts from a walk around Norwich
Walking is an art form. Everyone that can should go out walking. It calms the mind. It keeps you fit. It’s beneficial exercise for mind and body.
With this the soundscape came before the video. The working title for the soundscape was ‘Beats’.
A little video of the short poem by W.B. Yeats called The Great Day, read by me.
I’ve put together a new video and I’m very pleased with it. Why not take a look?
It’s all my own work as I’ve videoed it, created the music for it and I’ve also spoken the voiceover. It’s a gentle meander through water; literally and metaphorically. Following the journey of an imaginary raindrop as it ebbs and flows. Its constant cycle, recycle and metamorphosis. We are all water.
